Game Training Course

This course is aimed at coaches training players aged 13-17.

In the Game Training Phase the coach’s aim is to develop tactical awareness, perception and decision making through a game-related approach to training.

The course is conducted over 14 hours, is fully practical and provides the coach with training sessions designed to help players apply the functional game skills in a team setting.

Football West facilitates the training of community coaches at various locations and times during the year.

Clubs can contact Football West to request a coaching course to be conducted at their chosen venue. These courses will run according to demand.

In order to be eligible to take part in a Football West coaching course, attendees must register using the online system and make immediate payment by credit card.

Registrations received without payment will not be processed.

Football West offers Grassroots Certificate, Skills Training Certificate, Game Training Certificate and Senior Performance Phase Certificate courses.
